Product of Morocco
Argan Oil is extracted from the nut of the Moroccan Argan Tree. This tree, one of the most unique in the world, is more than 80 million years old and exists only in southwestern Morocco. A deep golden, sometimes red oil, Argan Oil is lighter in weight than olive oils and other nut oils. Its weight and body are more similar to seed oils, but with intense aroma and flavor. Its nutty spice is something akin to pumpkin seeds, but more pungent. It can be found on the menus of some of the finest restaurants in the world. Argan Oil can be used in place of olive, nut, or truffle oil, as a cooking oil, as well as a flavoring and/or finishing ingredient.250 milliliters (8.5 ounces)
